Starting with the 2025-26 academic year, the Bruin Financial Aid system has replaced the mainframe financial aid management system. For background on this project, we encourage you to visit the FACET Program website.

The Bruin Financial Aid Portal (BFAP) allows campus partners access to students’ financial aid information by allowing the user to experience the system as students do.

If you require access to BFAP, please review the process below:

  • Staff needing access will need to complete the required Bruin Financial Aid Tutorial.
  • After the user completes the required BFA training, the staff's Departmental Security Administrator (DSA) should then submit a Service Access Request (SAR) through UCLA ServiceNow.
  • Once reviewed, UCLA Financial Aid and Scholarships DSA will verify completion before granting access.

If staff have questions about access or navigating BFAP please reach out to UCLA Financial Aid and Scholarships via MyUCLA Message Center using the topic “Financial Aid for Undergraduate/Graduate students." For questions regarding training and office hours, please contact facet@it.ucla.edu.
